Reading and Leeds Festival 2008

Reading and Leeds festival headliners will be confirmed on 31st March 2008. AtReading.co.uk believes that they will be:

Rage Against The Machine | The Killers | Metallica

The rumour mill has been working overdrive as usual.
Here are some are the strong rumours:

Rage Against the Machine - Headlining Oxegen and T in the Park, they are expected to make a return to the Reading and Leeds Festivals after an 8 year absence.

The Killers - New dance inspired album is due late 2008, every rumour mill says they will be there... so does this one!

Metallica - Five years after their last appearance as headliners on the back of the St Anger album, they are due to release a new album in mid 2008. They're also touring Europe this summer including Degenaupark (Switzerland) on 17th Aug 2008.

Velvet Revolver - Touring the UK in March 2008, they are expected to be second on the bill on Sunday at Reading.

Gallows - Confirmed themselves during their recent performance at the London Astoria

ALSO RUMOURED:

British Sea Power, The Subways, Less Than Jake, Editors, The Kooks, QOTSA, Babyshambles, The Foals, Wombats (who return to the UK in May) and Slipknot.

Kasabian are also expected, however they have been confirmed as Creamfields headliner and it has not been confirmed if this is an exclusive contract.
