OTHER HANDY FACTS:
* Camping is available from the Wednesday 20th August 2008. You must purchase an Early Entry ticket if you plan to arrive on Wednesday. A small quantity may be available at the box office, however there was a 5-6 hour wait in 2007.
Be warned if you are travelling on Thursday expect up to 4-5 hours delay if you are travelling by car from the M4. Organisers usually request that you leave the site by 12 noon on the Monday.
* The railway station is only 10 minutes walk from the site (depending on congestion of people!) which is quite easy to find thanks to signs and the direction of the majority of people walking around.
* Wristbands - When arriving on site it is advisable to exchange
your ticket for a wristband at the wristband exchange
tent. Without one you cannot gain access to the main
arena. Once you have one you can leave and re-enter
the site/main arena whenever you like - but be warned
DO NOT TAKE IT OFF - you wont be going far without it.
Suggestion ! (mainly for newcomers) - challenge your mates to be the last one
to take the band off after the festival. Much more
interesting if you play for money :-)
* Camping opens Thurs 21st August, Closes Midday Monday 29th August.
* Food for personal consumption only may be brought into the arena. On site
there are plenty of outlets selling food and drink.
No alcohol/drinks bottles/cans/illegal substances
are allowed in the main arena.
