The Towering Inferno (UK BD) in November

Warner Home Video have announced the UK Blu-ray Disc release of The Towering Inferno on 16th November 2009. This special effects-laden thriller starring Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, Faye Dunaway and William Holden follows the rescue efforts of fire fighters as they battle to contain a raging fire that has engulfed the world's tallest skyscraper. As the flames reach ever higher, it's a race against time to save a group of people trapped on the top floor.
The UK Blu-ray Disc includes extra features not previously available on UK home video releases. There is no DVD release on the schedule.
