Ive put off buying Goodfellas on blu-ray so far (somehow!) - it will be interesting to see if this new 20th anniversary edition has better PQ than the existing one so Im definitely going to hold on longer.

It's just plain repackaging. When Warner does a real new edition (which isn't very often), they change the artwork (cf. North By Northwest). Here, you even get the same labels on the discs.

Well, at least, I will be able to focus on new releases this time.

Isn't the Public Enemies disc already available as part of one of the US Warner Gangster Collections?

Well if the PQ is the same as the first release Ill get the first release!

I wonder if the normal 5.1 sound on the first release has been updated to HD 5.1 though?

Im going to wait and see anyway.
