Arrow Video have announced the UK DVD release of Silent Night, Deadly Night on 23rd November 2009 priced at £15.99 RRP. This cult shocker which features a killer dressed as Santa Claus sparked a wave of controversy upon its US theatrical release and was never granted a BBFC certificate until now.

Released fully uncut, features include:
  • Unrated trailer
  • Audio interview with director Charles E. Sellier Jr.
  • Poster
  • Booklet including ‘Deadly Director: Charles Sellier interviewed by Calum Waddell' and ‘Silent Night, Sex Night: The Slice and Times of Linnea Quigley'

I just have to say this: that is some awesome artwork. The film itself is okay, although it is pretty good if you look at it by 80's slasher terms.
