I'd be tempted to say that this makes waiting for the BR necessary, but fan though I am of extras, I can't imagine that I would sit through every episode three times in order to hear all the commentaries. I should never knock extras, its good to have them even if not everyone watches them all, but this just might be a overkill. You'ld have to be a very serious fan.
