I thought with the advent of Blu-Ray I'd not be seeing any more "vanilla" discs but it seems that while the public is still gullible enough to buy them, Film companies are going to release them.

The Quick & the Dead disc is 99% pure bottom line profit for Sony (and don't they need it at the moment poor souls) as all costs have been re-couped years ago, and it's a shame but I for one will only be buying discs that deserve it rather than ones that openly and blatantly take the piss out of me...

There is making of material, deleted scenes (Bruce Campbell etc) and trailers for TQATD that already exists, let alone doing commentary tracks etc but Sony cannot be arsed as they know we're stupid enough to buy it anyway :-(
IMHO of course...

Updated with Sliverado art & specs. It's not book packaging as previously reporetd, just regular packaging with a booklet (which might not actually materialise, as Amazon seem to think it's regular SRP of $28.96 but Sony's listing still says $38.96 and 'with booklet').
