Drakes Avenue Pictures have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of two films by director Wayne Wang (The Joy Luck Club) on 7th September 2009. Chan is Missing - Wang’s directorial debut is an offbeat take on the Chinese-American experience, and the collision between Eastern and Western cultures.
Chan is Missing is 4:3 with no extras.
Dim Sum: A Little Bit of Heart is the follow-up to Chan is Missing and is a slice-of-life comedy about shifting relationships and the conflict between traditional and contemporary values.
Dim Sum is anamorphic widescreen and includes a single extra titled ‘Take Out’ (12mins).
