Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of The Damned United on 31st August 2009. Tom Hooper directs this film based on the novel by David Peace about controversial soccer manager Brian Clough (portrayed by Michael Sheen). Set in 1974 but flashing back to the 1960s, the film centres around Clough's ill-fated 44-day reign as coach of Leeds United, then one of England's most successful football teams.

Thought this was okay but wont be bothering to pick it up. Had to comment on the artwork though! Sheen isnt exactly the twin of Clough but the film, and the images of him shown around the time of its release at least had a look of Clough about him. This main picture of him on this artwork does not! He looks like he has just walked off the set of The League of Gentlemen!! Even the two smaller images on the cover showing Sheen as Clough look better.
