Mad Men Season 2 (R1/US BD) in July

Lionsgate Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Mad Men Season 2 on 14th July 2009. This series about the glamorous and ego-driven “Golden Age” of advertising continues with Season 2 on DVD and Blu-ray ($49.98 SRP each).

DVD - Episodes are spread across four-discs presented in anamorphic widescreen with English DD5.1 Surround audio and English and Spanish subtitles.

Blu-ray Disc - Episodes are spread across three-discs presented in 1080P Widescreen with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and English and Spanish subtitles.

Extras are the same on both formats and include:

• Audio commentaries with cast and crew on all 13 episodes
• “Birth of an Independent Woman, Part 1 and Part 2” – from housewives to working women, this featurette examines the rise of female independence in the Mad Men era
• “An Era of Style” - featurette explores the fashion of the 1960’s and its lasting influence on designers today
• ”Time Capsule” - interactive featurettes paying homage to historical events of the 1960's and the daring generation that lived through them

The DVD will be packaged in a limited edition sleek shirt box with a see-thru window.
