They have got to be kidding! The most implausible academic since Denise Richards in The World Is Not Enough.

Funny how quotes often tell nothing if a movie is good. I wouldn't be surprised if this quote is taken out of context. Who knows (except if you had read Fangoria's review), the full quote might have said, "I thought this movie would have some rousing fight scenes and nonstop action. But there was none to be found."

At least, they have Uew Boll's name as small as they can, without not having it there. And they don't mention he directed "House of the Dead".

Now, I'll be waiting for "Silent Hill" to hit the silver screen. Uwe Boll, don't even think about it!

I looked up a review of this on their website and it doesn't even mention that quote. I guess they must've published a different one in the magazine or something. Based on their net review, however, I doubt it was very positive.

(For reference, it can be found here.)

They are making Silent Hill actually, and by the looks of it, it's gonna be the best adaptation yet - yes, that's right, Mr. Boll has nothing to do with it!

It's being directed by Cristophe Gans from a screenplay by "Oscar-winner" Roger Avary. Probably won't turn out as bad as Alone in the Dark...

It did in America, obviously, but not here.

We were lucky. It is astonishingly awful.

Dear god, I hope not. I went to see Uwe Boll's last film, House Of The Dead and I would like to think they wouldn't inflict his work on innocent British cinemagoers again.
