Fox Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Glee Season One Volume One: Road to the Sectionals on 29th December 2009 priced at $39.98 SRP. William McKinley High School once had a champion glee club, but now they are floundering. That is when an idealistic Spanish teacher (Matthew Morrison) takes up their cause, vowing to transform the rag-tag group of singers and dancers into champions.
The new show from Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tuck) also stars Jane Lynch (The 40 Year Old Virgin), Jessalyn Gilsig (“Nip/Tuck”) and a slew of talented newcomers including Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer. Featuring the first 13 episodes, “Glee” Volume One: Road to the Sectionals DVD will also include musical selections topping the charts at iTunes; exclusive behind-the-scenes featurettes and the Director’s cut of the pilot episode; audition videos from the talented cast and much more.
