Fox Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of two best-of Family Guy compilations in October. Priced at £12.99 RRP each these two-disc sets include episodes focused around Stewie and Peter and will include a digital copy of the episodes and free ringtones for your mobile phone.
Released on 13th October 2008, Stewie Griffin: Best Bits Exposed includes Chitty Chitty Death Bang, The Tan Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Stewie Loves Lois and The Courtship of Stewie’s Father.
Released on 20th October 2008, Peter Griffin: Best Bits Uncovered includes Let’s go to the Hop, E.Peterbus Unum, Mr.Griffin goes to Washington and PTV.

Who buys these? Fans will already have the boxsets and the boxes are usually in sales so this will hardly save much money.

Yes but think of them as playlists these are some of my favroute episodes so you can just play them without interuption of putting discs in

not everybody's a die-hard fan who has to have every episode. despite amazing DVD sales, Fox is still trying to reach the casual fan who would be satisifed with just a few of their favorite episodes and would never buy an entire season.
