Excellent. I wasn't expecting American Gangster to have both cuts on BD. That's the first time the Extended Cut will be in HD.
I've not bothered to upgrade my Universal HD-DVDs but this one I will be.

Great to see Casino making the jump to BD. Now if only Carlito's Way would be announced too...
Great to see Universal taking BD seriously; looks like Casino has more features (U-Control) than the HD-DVD version...

The HD-DVD has four featurettes not featured here. I imagine it's just those in different form.
"Vegas and the Mob" and "History Alive: True Crime Authors: Casino With Nicholas Pileggi (The History Channel)" looks to be new though.
p.s - American Gangster looks to be getting all the 3 Disc LE extras that previously were only on the DVD set though (excluding the digital copy):

But (lack of) capacity was never an issue for HD DVD ;)

On a serious note though, what is the point in offering a three-pack set if it doesn't work out cheaper than buying the 3 titles individually?? The horror starter pack (Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead and The Thing) is much cheaper than buying the 3 individually. I think I have it pre-ordered on Amazon for about $40

I hope Universal puts a little more effort on the transfer for American Gangster. The HD DVD looked kind of ghastly.
