Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of The Tudors: The Complete First Season on 10th December 2007 priced at £29.99. Telling the tale of the tumultuous early years of the reign of young Henry VIII, The Tudors features a cast that includes Jonathan Rhys Myers, Sam Neill, Jeremy Northam, Natalie Dormer and Henry Cavill.
The show is set to debut on DVD the Monday after the finale airs on BBC2, with the three-disc set presenting the episodes in anamorphic widescreen with English DD5.1 Surround audio and optional English, English HOH, Greek and Hindi subtitles. Extras are limited to 11 cast and crew interviews.
