Warner Home Video have announced the US Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD release of The Aviator on 6th November 2007 priced at $28.99 SRP each. Martin Scorsese's epic biopic depicts the early years of legendary director and aviator Howard Hughes' career, from the late 1920's to the mid-1940's.
Using dual-layer discs (BD50 and HD30) the film is presented in 1080P 2.35:1 Widescreen with English and French 5.1 Surround and Spanish 2.0 Surround audio options (Dolby Digital on BD, Dolby Digital Plus on HD DVD) and English, French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles. Extras include:

I'm more concerned about the lack of extras, is that it? Where are "all" the DVD extras?

As to the comment about no loseless...the Blu version of Harry Potter will offer loseless audio.
