Dont EIV distribute for New Line in the Uk or is my memory a little inaccurate? New Line have announced support for both formats in the US.

Stil, either way, good to see more studios sating some support for Hi-Def!!

I had no feelings about EIV in the UK, packaging was really poor but i thought the pictures were normally pretty good. (specifically early releases like Blaade and lost in Space).

Sorry, that was a mistake on the press release. I've corrected it now after adding the artwork for all 7 titles.

Yep they distribute New Line titles over here. None of the above are New Line though, and you make an interesting point about New Line's neutral stance in the US. Whether they would impose that on their titles over here is another matter I guess.

Region B = no sale for me, unfortunately. I was going to pick up Gangs of New York, but I guess I'll have to wait for Disney to release it in a Region A territory, or for one of those announced HD DVD releases (Spanish and French) to actually surface.

Nice to see that EIV is carrying its own unique brand of cover design into the high definition generation (see The Crow).

They have catalogue titles like Seven and Lord of the Rings.

It seems hard to believe that LotR will be exclusive to Blu-ray in the UK.

This was the only title that would have made me get a HD-DVD player.

Perhaps New Line can dictate what happens with their titles.
