Get the HD release and it's even more obvious that they're stuntmen in the speedboat chase scene! Great film otherwise though, if completely ridiculous. Was wondering when they'd do a special edition.

I never noticed before, and it doesn't really matter, but in the artwork it is quite obvious from the attempted facial expressions that Travolta is posing as Troy.

I suppose it makes sense seeing as they are "that way round" for the majority of the film.

If Paramount only supported loss less sound, come on, give us TrueHD or PCM 5.1... This is a title that definately deserves better than DD plus (or DD 5.1 for Blu-ray)

Japanese Face/off blu-ray release is already out and it has English PCM 5.1 soundtrack. Disc is region ABC so fear not to import if you have region B player and you absolutely need uncompressed sound.

Why wouldnt they put all the extras on HD-Dvd , it doesn't look as though it has a particularly large raft of features that may require more than 30gb

THe extras are in HD not standard def, so the 30GB doesn't cut it. Also the reason why the 50GB Blades of Glory Blu-Ray will have a TrueHD track while the 30GB HD-DVD will only have a Dolby Digital track.

OK I've just found out Paramount have gone back to the original 2-disc set plan for this release and it now has all the extras again!
