Yay, Natural Born Killers. With any luck, it won't be the director's cut, and won't have any extras on it. Go, Warners!

Is this freakin' it?

Talk about understating it! Warner don't seem to have much faith in the HD market if this is all they're offering. "Beerfest" in HD! WOW... So this is what the future is like.........

You could tell when the cover of Lady in the Water (which is the best cover of it I have seen BTW) was used to headline the article that this wasn't too impressive!

Updated with the latest dates. The Island is now 7th May on both formats, Happy Feet and March of the Penguins are moved to Q4, 16 Blocks is moved back to 16th April and Under Siege is off the schedule for now.

So the lesson here is, IMPORT! :D

March of the Penguins is great to be honest. I did import the HD-DVD of Under Siege as it was cheaper and I doubt Warner will resubmit the film to the BBFC.

Oh it's not the importing I found hard to swallow.. I thought March Of The Penguins was a good idea - fantastic camera work, etc, but I'd have far preferred David Attenborough doing the voiceover rather than the sacarin sweet US-audience friendly Morgan Freeman voiceover (though don't get me wrong, the man is a legend). Too much anthropomorphicism for my liking.

Happy Feet.. well what a bunch of arse (yes, I know that's not exactly an intellectual comment but it's a bunch of dancing Penguins..)

Agree with you on the voice over.

Happy Feet is the latest cgi crap where a new film seems to be out every week. I perfer traditional animation but do have time for Pixar's work and the cgi Appleseed is good too.

While I like Toy Story I do kind of hate the fact that it made so much money that everyone got on the cgi bandwagon and traditional animation has vanished nearly.
