Anybody else find it odd that studios are releasing sequels before the original in the series has been released ?

Just of curiosity - do they make a new HD-master for the UK market if the film is cut by the BBFC? I know The Mummy Returns is cut in the UK but not in the states, and I guess that when Universal get around of releasing this title in the UK they will go with the same cut 12 certificate as on DVD. Or will they resubmit or go with a higher uncut (probably 15) certificate?

I dont know if any of the titles released in the UK so far are cut, I was told they basicly use the same US releases, just slap a certificate on them.

Is it just me, or does anyone else get thoroughly irritated by that tagline "The look and sound of perfect"? It doesn't make sense, if anything it should say "perfection". Perfect is an adjective and can't be used in that context any more than "silly" or "fast". It comes across like a bad Chinese translation, which for a product of this importance and prominence is absolutely pathetic.

Oooh it makes me mad!!! :D
