Ahhhhh....The one they should have ended on before doing the crappy "Generations" showed it's ugly head.

This was a fine end to the series.

I couldn't have said it better 42nd Street Freak. It's a pity this isn't an Extended Cut though.

This and The Wrath of Khan are both fantastic epic sci-fi's, part 1 is also very good.

I guess Paramount only have 3 more movies to re-release now. I wonder if the likes of Generations will get a re-release, it doesn't deserve it but it would be nice to complete the series properly.

I can't see Nemesis having a re-release (it's already pretty good) though.

Of course Paramount will release Generations as a two disc special edition, they would be foolish not too as Star Trek still makes a lot of money for them even though the new show "Star Trek-Enterprise" is poor. I also think that the new Star Trek VI release will feature the extended cut that has been around on both video and DVD already. Nice to see that this is also getting it's deserved anamorphic print.

Looking forward to this one; just boughtPart V to make my collection complete (it does not get better with age), so I'll buy Generations too. It must be said that Generations has a lot of cut scenes, so maybe they will appear on the SE DVD?
