The UK version has the promo and teaser on disc 6, not disc 7.
I assume that you haven't seen it to the 6th disc;)

Did they include it in a re-release? If so, that'd be pretty lame.
bassbar: It's the one with the line "I can find my own f/&$%ng job, Erin." if that's what you mean. :)

And Jack Bauers f****** line is included at the end of the teaser. I haven't seen a single episode of S4, so I don't know anything.
It's even in anamorphic!!!
It seems that they've been released with the re-release, so I can understand you.

The teaser actually starts with the final scene of season 3.

yes, I checked my 6th disc. I bought the set at amazon.co.uk when it was first released. No prequel. Bastards. I'll cancel my season 4 pre-order right now. If that's what you get for paying more they can keep it.

BBFC have rated the prequel (along with lots of other extras) recently, so it looks likely that it'll be on the set. Even if it isn't, you're not missing much -- Bauer swearing is the only good bit; it's mostly pointless.
Other stuff the BBFC have rated includes just under an hour of deleted scenes, as well as a selection of featurettes running about 15 to 20 minutes each.

The Season 3 extras list the Season 4 promo and teaser as being on part 2.

you're right, it's listed under the deleted/extended scenes over the the BBFC, that's why I didn't see it. I just checked the titles. Well, in that case I'll leave my order standing for now.
I've already seen the prequel, and while it may not be something special, it certainly belongs in a "complete" collection, that's why I want it. Thanks for your pointer.

I would have prefered three two disc amaray cases.

guantrees to cause discs to fly out on their way to doorsteps if you internet order it.
It 'guarantees' no such thing -- I've ordered more than enough digipacks over the net and very, very rarely had any problems with discs being loose. Personally, I absolutely hate them using a group of slim Amaray cases -- it's uglier and doesn't seem as nice.

Also, no commentaries? :(
Edit: Seems the prequel is on here -- it's the first of the deleted scenes, according to the BBFC site. Also, I'm told details of commentaries weren't announced until later for season 3 (though I don't remember that myself)...

Promotional Short Film ‘Nissan Shift - Original Drama’
I think it's the Nissan sponsorship ads that were shown on Sky. They were in real time and told an entie story over the over the entire season. It was kinda cool and it'll be interesting to see it all together.

The Nissan ads weren't in real time, were they? If they were meant to be then it seems they did a pretty poor job of it to me!
Finally, that first deleted scene -- its title implies it's an extended version of the s4 promo, but the summary makes it sounds like it's just an extended scene from it... I hope it's the former -- I still think it's not on to just go including it on a cheaper re-release of the s3 set.
