Michael Curtiz (Casablanca) directs an outstanding cast lead by Errol Flynn (They Died with Their Boots On) and Ed MacMurray (The Apartment), in this visually exciting Academy Award nominated WWII drama about two naval officers who are trying to understand and prevent altitude sickness. The two men must get past their personal differences in order to conduct the experiments necessary to save lives.

The film is based on Alistair MacLean's best-selling novel and stars Rock Hudson, Jim Brown and Ernest Borgnine in the story of a mission to the North Pole to rescue the crew of Drift Ice Station Zebra, a weather station at the top of the world. Nominated for two Academy Awards.
