It's a shame that Season Five marked the end of the show, but it went out on a high-note!!

I wonder if they'll release all of the episodes in one box, like they did with Buffy...That's probably a long-shot though...

I hope they do. Fox seem to be doing it for most shows these days, from Futurama to Millennium, so I hope Angel gets a similar treatment -- mainly cos I want it to go next to my lovely Buffy one! :p

February 25th is more or less the same time as the release of the R1, which I think I'll get in lieu of this. The lack of recaps stops being a problem with this season (since beyond the second episode there weren't any), and the image quality on the R1 sets is so much better.

why the week after region 1. we have always gotten buffy and angel before region 1. well at least we get the superior packaging and recaps on the three episodes that have them.

Yeah, I've been moaning about that for ages too. Oh well, the region one release week will probably be taken up watching The Peacekeeper Wars several times in order to make up for the fact I won't have had the opportunity to see it on Sky. Which reminds me, we traditionally get Farscape first too so what's with the release date for that?

Given Fox's recent pattern with full series box sets I expect we'll see one about this time next year. Promptly followed, of course, by the rerelease of the season box sets in m-lock packaging.

The menu screen's look really nice, better than the previous set's. I really hope they use the same screen's for the R1 release. FOX used the same menu screens from the R2 Season Seven Buffy box set for the R1 release, so I'm pretty confident they will. - And it's really nice to finally see Region 1 getting OUR shows on DVD before Region 2, I hope this trend keeps up with FOX.
