Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Before Sunset for 9th November 2004 priced at $27.95. From director Richard Linklater comes the follow-up to his 1994 feature, Before Sunrise, in which two strangers (played by Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy) met, wandered the city of Vienna and fell in love. Ten years later the director is reunited with these two characters and the actors who played them as they are about to cross paths again - this time in Paris, where they will get the chance to fall in love all over again.

Presented in Anamorphic Widescreen with English and French DD5.1 Surround audio and optional English, French and Spanish subtitles. Extras include a behind-the-scenes featurette and theatrical trailer.

A double-pack featuring Before Sunrise and Before Sunset will also be available. Retail is $35.98 SRP.

An excellent film, I agree. And to be honest, I'm rather pleased that this is going to be a low key affair. This is the sort of film that I wouldn't want weighed down with commentaries, deleted scenes and other detritus. The double pack would be special edition enough.
